Maternity photoshoots are always incredibly special to capture – even more so now that we’re parents ourselves – but this Agadir maternity photoshoot was doubly special because two years ago we did a wedding photoshoot with this same couple!
Two years ago, Hassan and Fadoua were a newly married couple, and we had an amazing photoshoot at the beach with them. We were so excited when we heard from them a few months ago – and even more excited when we heard they were expecting a little one!
For their maternity photoshoot, we met at a beach outside of Taghazout. They could not have chosen a more perfect evening! It was warm without being hot, the sky was blue, and there was just the slightest breeze.
These two are seriously so much fun to capture on camera! Both times we’ve photographed them, they really put a lot of thought into the photoshoot – from outfits (they could write a style guide for photoshoots!), to photo ideas (they brought along these adorable pink baby shoes that we incorporated into some of the photos), they come prepared and excited!
I realized by the end of the photoshoot that I had said “beautiful!” about a thousand times too many, but when I look through the photos I can see why. Everything about the photoshoot and this couple was, truly, beautiful. Underlying it all was the anticipation of the arrival of this little girl who will completely change their world! Which Richard and I understand all too well, as just last year our little girl arrived and completely changed our world. The joy that our daughter has brought into our lives is incredible and just continues to multiply, and we are thrilled for Hassan and Fadoua to experience this as well.
It was with reluctance that we were forced to put down our cameras when the sun had sunk beyond the horizon and the final rays of light were gone. The evening had been beautiful and it felt like such a privilege to photograph these two in this special season of waiting.
It felt impossible to choose our favorite photos from the evening, which is always a good problem to have! We are so thrilled for Hassan and Fadoua and they are going to be incredible parents to their daughter!
