Jack & Genesis – Moroccan Desert Photoshoot

It’s no secret that we absolutely LOVE doing couples photoshoots! What makes them even more fun is when we get to photograph at a beautiful new location – like this Moroccan desert photoshoot! This new location where we photographed is in a word, breathtaking. We often get inquiries from couples wanting to do an epic photoshoot in the Sahara Desert. Unfortunately, it is a long drive to Sahara from Agadir. Lucky for us, we’ve discovered a little bit of desert just outside of Agadir! Photographing in these sand dunes, you feel like you’re out in the desert, except if you stand on top of a dune you can see the ocean within walking distance.

When Genesis contacted us for a special photoshoot to celebrate her birthday, she wanted a location that would remind her of her time in Morocco. What is more epic than a photoshoot out in the dunes at sunset?! Genesis’ partner Jack and their dog Taggy came along as well and let me tell you, this is a fun couple (and Taggy is fun too!)! Genesis is from Panama and Jack is from France. They met four years ago when Jack was working in Panama and they both work in the same field, civil engineering.

They recently moved to Agadir for work and we so enjoyed getting to know them during this photoshoot. Genesis and Jack have such natural chemistry that we didn’t find that we needed to give much direction, we just kept saying, “Yes! Keep doing THAT!”.

These two also have a fun-loving side that really came out through the photos and we spent a lot of time laughing and grinning behind our cameras! We wondered, Is it work when you’re having this much fun?! The evening was beautiful and there was a magnificent sunset at the end of the evening AND a full moon!

Beautiful and fun couple, stunning location, awesome weather…what more can photographers ask for?
