Our first photoshoot of 2019 was a beautiful couples photoshoot in Agadir. It was a great way to begin the new year and we loved getting to know newly married Ashley and Mohamed!
Ashley and Mohamed met over Instagram a few years ago. Ashley is from the US but lives and works in Canada, and Mohammed is from Agadir. They recently got married and Mohamed will be joining Ashley in Canada.
Both Ashley and Mohamed grew up near water so doing the photoshoot along Agadir’s beach made perfect sense!
They chose a classy look for the photoshoot and we love that Ashley wore a traditional Moroccan dress. We had a beautiful evening for the photoshoot and aside from a lone fisherman, the beach to ourselves!
See below for some of our favorite moments from the evening.
We love couple photoshoots in Agadir; especially ones right before or after a wedding, as couples have that beautiful newlywed glow. Glow is an understatement when it comes to newlywed couple Hassan and Fadoua!
Married just a few days before this Agadir photoshoot, these two are head over heels for each other! Seriously, we found ourselves grinning behind our cameras the whole time. Love is truly a wonderfully thing!
While both from Agadir, Hassan and Fadoua met over Facebook through a mutual friend. A few years later, Hassan proposed to Fadoua in Barcelona at a Jay-Z and Beyonce concert!
Hassan and Fadoua coordinated very well for the photoshoot and we love details like Fadoua’s flower crown and Hassan’s suspenders. Fadoua’s dress also had the perfect swirl, and one of our favorite shots from the shoot captures this.
It was no surprise that we had a perfect clear and warm day for this Agadir beach photoshoot. Decembers in Agadir really are one of the best months to do a photoshoot! Hassan and Fadoua were enthusiastic about trying anything we suggested and also came with a few creative ideas of their own!
We had a lot of fun with Hassan and Fadoua and we wish these two all happiness in their life together!
Romantic photoshoots are quite possibly our favorite type of photoshoot. Capturing the love between two people is incredibly special and as a married couple ourselves, we’re passionate about helping others to preserve memories with their loved ones. Away from the bustle of a wedding, a romantic photoshoot is relaxed and intimate. Each one is unique to the couple that we are photographing and we love creating something new each time!
We met up with Habib and Maria while they were on their honeymoon in Agadir. They had escaped the winter cold of the United Kingdom and were enjoying Agadir’s sunny December days.
We took them to one of our favorite beach spots along Agadir’s coastline. It’s actually the same spot where we had our proposal more than three years ago!
Habib and Maria are the kind of couple that you become instant friends with and we’re hoping that they plan another trip back to Morocco soon! They met years ago at a wedding and had their civil ceremony this year on the 1st of December. They have been together ten years and have such a deep love for one another and also laugh a lot together!
They wore the same attire that they wore for their wedding and they looked amazing! Even in their formal attire, Habib and Maria were up for anything and one of our favorite shots of all time is one we got of them right by the coastline, with the waves crashing in the background and their reflection on the rocks. It was a perfect evening for an Agadir beach photoshoot.
Our time with them ended with one of the best sunsets we’ve seen in Agadir. It was such a joy capturing some post wedding photos for them and we hope that these photos help to preserve memories of their honeymoon in Agadir and of this season in their relationship.
We had a beautiful sunset photoshoot with Mehdi and Narjiss along Agadir’s coastline. These two met while they were both studying in France. Ten years later, Narjiss now works as a teacher outside of Paris and Mehdi is an accountant. These two are so in love and we loved capturing the anticipation and joy they have for their upcoming marriage. Two days after the photoshoot, we photographed their Drb Sdaq.
Narjiss wore a white wedding gown that she and a friend designed together. It’s a modern take on a traditional Kaftan. Her hair and makeup was done by Pauline at Brooklyn Mama’s and she looked absolutely radiate. Mehdi looked very classy in a suit.
These two are incredibly fun loving and we got lots of moments of laughter, as well as some beautiful tender moments between them.
